Auto increment date in header

Hello,
I want to create a document and in header to put the date like:
Thursday, 31.12.2009
and on second page, in header to appear
Friday, 01.01.2010
and on third page
Saturday, 02.01.2010
and so on
Have anybody an idea how to do it?
