RE: text cropped in drawing objects pasted as pictures in WD97

Hi Jimbo -

I don't have access to '97 & can't reproduce the problem in 2003, but can
offer one piece of insight. When you paste any object into Word it will
automatically be downsized as necessary to fit the printable area within the
margins of the page you're pasting to. IOW, the 9.5" wide object pasted to a
portrait page with 'default' 1.25" margins would explain why the picture was
reduced to 6" (8.5 - [2x1.25] = 6).

As to why text was cropped when you pasted to a landscape page, I can't say.
