I would like to use Word to prepare aa A size, portrait
drawing. Has a standard (ANSI) A size drawing format been
made?

I'm not familiar with A size, but there is a paper size limit
in Word of 32 in (as I recall). Is A size larger than that?

The maximum height or width for a Word document is 22". If you're talking
about A0, A1, or A2, then it will be too big. A3 is the largest European
stock size that Word can print, though it can come close to A2 (which is 420
x 594 mm or 16.5" x 23.38").

Hi.
I gues I should have been more specific, I meant A size,
customary US, which is 8 1/2 x 11 (portrait). What I am
interested is the familair title block and drawing number
that all drawings must have. The standard dimensions are
given by an ANSI standard. AutoCAD provides them as
templates and I was looking for a similar thing in word.
The drawing I have to prepare is mostly text.

Thanks

Most printers refer to this size as Letter. I don't know of any template for
a drawing, but you might search Google.
