Whenever I choose Insert Picture, I see over a dozen
commands that say "Clip Collection." Each of the options
brings me to the same clip art. Does anyone know how to
get rid of this?

This is one of the horrors created by the Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for
Word. If you're running Word freestanding (not starting it from the Works
Task Launcher), you should uninstall the add-in (through Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs). This doesn't uninstall Works or Word, just breaks the
link between them. After you've done that, open Tools | Customize. With the
Customize dialog open, open the Insert menu on the menu bar (not the
category on the Commands tab) and drag all but one instance of Clip
Collection off the menu.

Thanks, Suzanne. This worked beautifully to get the commands off the menu. However, now I can't access any of the Clip Art I used to be able to access in MS Works. I thought the Clip Art was on Disk 2, but can't find it there. I can't find it anywhere, in fact. Any suggestions?

Can't access it in Works or in Word? If Works, ask in
microsoft.public.works.win. If Word, I would guess that you won't be able to
access it via Clip Collection any more, but you should be able to navigate
to it using Insert | Picture | From File. Recent versions of Word have used
varying versions of Clip Art Gallery, Design Gallery, and now something else
(that is entirely unsatisfactory IMO), and Insert | Picture | Clip Art may
not be able to access the clip art from Works without using the Works Suite
add-in, and the art may be in a .cab file on the Works/Office CD, so you may
need to install it to the HD to access it.

I'm out of my depth here, though, so I'll wait for Mary Sauer to weigh in.
