However, when I right click on the photo and click copy
and try to paste it onto a blank document, nothing comes
up. I used to have Word 97 and was able to do so with no
problems. I can copy the photos and send them via e-mail
to myself with no problems, but I just can't see the
photos on a Word Document.
I am not very technical savvy and am having trouble
understanding what terms like Clip Art and things like
that mean. If anyone can help me out, I would sooooo
greatly appreciate it.
There are two ways around this. You can select the picture and press
Ctrl+Shift+F9 to unlink it, which embeds the actual graphic in your
document, or you can save the graphic to your hard drive to make it
accessible anytime you want to insert it. Right-click on the graphic and
select "Save Target As." Save the file to My Pictures (in most cases you'll
want to change the name to something more meaningful), and then use Insert |
Picture | From File to put it in your Word document.
