I am using MS Word 2007 and when I insert an image (in this case a product
logo) into a document everything looks and prints fine. However, when I
save the file it then adds two border lines to the image - one on top and one
on the left side.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm having this same issue, but have been unable to resolve it thus far. Any
information would be appreciated!

I too am having this problem. What I finally did was save the file as "Word
97- 2003 Document" and the lines went away. I hope they fix this soon.

Thanks "Jay". That definitely takes care of the problem. I hate to go down
to '03 again but until Microsoft releases a fix this will do the trick.
Thank you again for your help.

...by cropping the top and left of the image by .01 to .02 cm. Well it worked for me anyway

Turn off the compression of the pictures. From the Picture Tools>Format tab
of the ribbon, click on Compress Pictures in the Adjust section of the
ribbon and then in the Compress Pictures dialog, click on the Options button
and then in the Compression Settings dialog, uncheck the box for
"Automatically perform basic compression on save"

Hope this helps,

if it an image that you can't crop it is still an issue...has anyone heard of an update to this for Word 2007, or has it been resolved in 2010 version?
