On Which computer are you saving the page?

When a user clicks a link, it takes them to a specific computer. If you
saved it on YOUR computer, THEY won't be able to get it.

You need to save it into a folder on a computer that everyone can access.

The page is saved in the file on the network drive and not an individual
computer. I don't know if this is material but I looked at the security of
the word doc and MHTML page when it's converted and it changes the current
owner to whoever saved the word doc to MHTML last. The folder where all the
webpage data is stored is on a network drive. Do you think it has something
to do with security? The only reason I don't think so is when I initially
put the folder on the network, everyone could open the homepage.mhtlm.

I "believe" the key problem here is the format that that the potential page
is being saved to?

MHTML is an option for local viewing on a single computer.

Have you attempted saving the page as "HTML"?

I went under File and Save as Web Page and then instead of using Save As Type
"Single File Web page", I saved it under Save As Type "Web Page". When I
open the html home.page I just saved it goes to MS PowerPoint and within the
powerpoint page it says that "this page uses frames, but your browser doesn't
support them"

I don't have an option under the Save As Type for just HTML even though when
I saved it as a Web Page it saved it as html. I figure that is what it means
when you save it as web page.

At least in Word 2003, if you use File | Save as Web Page, the default
format is "Single-File Web Page" or .mht (MHTML). You can click the arrow
beside the file type box and choose HTML instead. Alternatively, if you just
use File | Save As, you can choose HTML instead of .doc.

When I Save the homepage as html and try to open it again (as html) it opens
in powerpoint and says that "this page uses frames, but your browser doesn't
support them". My homepage has three frames in it. One for the header,
another for the index on the left, and the third for the item selected in the
index that will be displayed to the right of the index. I'm wondering why it
opens in powerpoint when I convert it to html and if that is the problem.
Any suggestions?

Disregard my last post. When I saved it as a web page I went in and changed
the application it opens with to internet explorer instead of powerpoint and
it works. Thanks for the help.
