invalid page fault module ms09.dll while saving

I am trying to save a page with multiple text boxes with
pictures inserted in them. I keep getting the error
message Winword performed illegal operation and will be
shut down. Details are invalid page fault module ms09.dll
at 17f:30993ab3. Funny, but I didn't have this problem
until I downloaded the updates microsoft sent out a couple
of days ago. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

Hi Eileen,
What version of Word are you using and what updates did you install?
Precisely when does the error occur? When you click the Save command? When
you click Save As? If Save As does the dialog box display?
Are you able to save other files or does the error occur on a single
document only?
