MS offers two MSWORD programs for XP. They're both supposed to be the same.

The regular one cost around $300. The other one includes three or four other programs like Travel
Map, Encylopedia, etc.

Why the $200 difference? Is there any PRACTICAL difference between the two WORDS? Are there fewer
features in the cheaper one?

The $100 one would be the one in Works Suite; it is identical to the
higher-priced standalone version. This is the best bargain going. Just be
sure to uninstall the Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word before trying to
use Word freestanding.
