Good Morning,
I am not sure that this is the correct group to post this message--if
that is so please let me know what the correct group is.
I have a Dell C810 running Win XP Pro SP3, and a D-Link 655 router and a
Linksys WPC 54GS PCMCIA card. I am thinking that this PCMCIA card is
not compatible with SP3 since it worked well before installing
installing SP3. My question is is there a card that will work with SP3?

Thanks in Advance

Tried installing the latest device drivers from the hardware manufacturer's
support/downloads web page?

Linksys WPC 54GS PCMCIA
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WPC54GS

Specifically here:
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WPC54GS/download
("Select your Hardware Version" drop-down selection...)

Yes I did install the new drivers but, they did not help. I posted on
the Linksys forums and was told that the 54GS was incompatible with SP3.
What I am looking for is a PCMCIA card that will work with SP3. I
could un install SP3 but, I really do not want to do that. :)

Can you link to the answer you received in the Linksys forums?

Is there another PCMCIA card those who told you it was not compatible with
Windows XP with SP3 recommend to replace it? (If you liked the card and the
way the software was used to manage it - I see no need to suggest another
brand to you, etc.)
