SP3, RDP, and scrambled VB6 listview contents

I have a client running an application remotely on about 15 WinXP Pro
computers via a software vendor's offiste terminal server. There is evidently
some sort of problem with listview contents & column headings being scrambled
in the application when run via the RDP session, and the vendor claims this
does not happen when running the application via RDP from Vista or Windows7.
The vendor claims that the SP3 version of the RDP client "has an issue
whereby VB6 listview contents and column headings are scrambled when the
listview is scrolled, and/or when column positions are shifted", and their
solution is to uninstall that RDP client (KB925876).

I do not really want to uninstall any part of SP3 from that many computers
to accomodate just one application, but I suppose I will have to do it if it
solves the problem. Of course, alternatively, I can direct the vendor toward
any VB6-related fixes that could be applied to their application.

Ask them if the latest version of the Remote Desktop Client solves the
issue.
