Is there a setting somewhere that limits this number? Is it a hardware
limitation based on my system (RAM)?
Does anyone have a better idea for broadcast faxing? Winfax Pro won't work
with Win XP SP2!
Thanks!

I regularly send out broadcast faxes using Windows Fax- switched over from
Winfax 10 after repeated problems with the software after they stopped
supporting it. Here is how I get Windows Fax to work:
Close Outlook and the fax console before opening the pdf you want to fax.
Send it like you normally would to the entire group. As long as BOTH of
these programs are closed, all of the people in the group will appear in the
outbox. Then wait a couple of minutes before opening the fax console. If
you open it too early, it won't have had time to load all of the faxes and
you will have to delete what is there and start over.
The only problem I have noticed with using this for broadcasts is that
sometimes it tells you it failed to connect or that the number was busy, and
it actually went through. I would recommend limiting the number of retries
to 1 or 2.
Also, WinFax has a patch that will work with SP2- but the program has
multiple other problems. I was having to reinstall the program every couple
of days because it would freeze upon opening it. You are probably looking
for build 10.03 of WinFax Pro.
Enjoy!
