I've noticed that sometimes when I
right click / save picture as...I do not
have the option to save as .gif.
If you cannot save as .gif...the animation
will not work.
Yes, you can set an animated .gif that
has been saved to your hard drive as
a desktop background. Just right click
the animation and choose...
"Set As Desktop Background"
If you right click your desktop and go to...
Properties / Desktop tab... you can choose
to Center, Tile or Stretch the image.
This will deplete your resources.
