With XP Pro
When using a VPN Client (Nortel) over my cable modem, I
cannot get my browser to resolve hostnames. However, if
I enter the IP address in the browser I can access the
page.

I have set my TCP/IP settings to append my DNS suffix,
and I have disabled the internal firewall.
It works fine if I manually load the DNS and WINS
addresses, but this is not acceptable as the computer is
used for both personal and business use.
