Hey I have a Belkin's router and since I connected my W Home Xp to it I lost
a chance to see other's computer in Lan I'm connected to. I can see
computers I have connected to this router, but others not. Also other's
computers can't see me. What could it be? I have my comp in DMZ, and it's
still "invisible" in both ways. It's under NAT, but when I switch NATin
Router off i lose internet connection..
Would someone hellp me plz?

Thanks

1. make sure no firewall running.
2. check ipconfig /all on all commuters. or post here.

Thanks for the reply:

I have no firewalls running on my side, altough there is some built in
firewall in Belkin's router, but I switch it off in setup (well I hit some
setting to turn it off, but Im not sure if it is enough)

This is info of my ipconfig from my desktop W Home XP

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

My question is : If I have subnet mask 255.255.255.0 the same as subnetmask
of my Lan I am already connected to, will it work?

My Lan settings are: IP 192.168.0.3 mask: 255.255.255.0 Gate 192.168.0.1 and
there is some setting in router which allows me to write name of the host, I
wrote there to test, name of the workgroup but it didnt help.

Thanks

all computers in the same subnet should be in 192.168.2.0.
