I have been trying to get RDWC to work, and am still unable to connect. My
desktop, which used to be at work, is now at home, and I want to connect to
it remotely from my laptop at work. I have repeated the steps over and over
and OVER, and I still cannot connect. I tried the computer names, the Client
IP addresses and even the Gateway IP addresses, but the result is always the
same: cannot connect, cannot locate the computer... AUHGH!
I was hoping to be able to use the connection both ways, because the host
computer at home doesn't have a printer and the laptop at work does. Forget
that when I cannot connect.
I'm not stupid, but this is driving me crazy and I'm about ready to just
give up. But I'm not a quitter, dammit!
Can someone help me?

Did you open port 3389 in the firewalls and routers?

It might help if you give the readers a bit of information as to how the
machines connect to the internet.
