I have just installed a new computer with a new install of WinXP Pro
on my network.

The computer can connect to the internet over the network.

When I click on "My Network Places", I get an empty window. What do I
need to do to see the other computers and the devices on the network.

I don't remember having this problem in the past.

TIA

Joe

Hi
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.

When done hard reboot all network computers and the Router.
