Remote Desktop Connection in XP Pro

? Question: in Remote Desktop connection,
is this service dependent on having the "Messenger Service"
enabled? I am getting Pop Messenger Ads..!

I would like to access the Host via RDC, yet not have to
close 15 or more popup messenger ads. I read where
disabling the Messenger serfvice is the only way, except
for 3rd party Popup filters etc...

Hi JC,

No, Remote desktop connection is not dependent on
messenger service at all. Messenger Service is more use
full in corporate networks for hardware/software instant
notification perposes. It not much of use for home users.
