Subject: error and can not open the program
When I try to open several different programs both
microsoft (word 2002) and non-microsoft (origin 6.0) I get
the same error and it can not open the program. This
happens over and over. Because the only thing they have in
common is windows I think it is a windows problem

The error modname is hpzpm309.dll.

Anyone now what the problem could be or how to fix it?

I have had the same problem. It is related to your HP printer. The
file hpzpm309.dll is an HP printer driver. Try setting your default
printer to another printer if possible. Otherwise, I am still
experimenting and looking for a solution.

Good luck, and best wishes

Subject: Re: error and can not open the program
I have found a solution:

My HP Printer is connected to my desktop, which is connected by a
network cable to my laptop. I share the printer with my laptop, and if
I want to print from my laptop, I have to have my desktop on (because
the printer is only connected to the desktop).

If the desktop is off, and I open Word, I get that error message. The
hpzpm309.dll is an HP printer driver. Word will not start if the
connection is not there. If I choose another default printer (even
though I don't have another) and set it to use offline, then I do not
get the error message, and can use Word.

Are you on a network as well, sharing a printer?
