When I am shutting down my laptop, I get an error message on the blue screen
saying I have a problem with "css-dvp.sys" (page_fault_in_nonpaged_area). I
know this is part of the Windows/system32/drivers folder.

css-dvp.sys is Description: Dynamic Virus Protection, Company: Command
Software, File version: 4.93.050512, Date created: 5/16/05 750kb

I did not find any Mircosoft updates on that date. Nor any new program
installs. Can any one give me some advice on how to correct this problem? I
totally would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help....

You apparently have Command Antivirus installed and there is a problem
with it. Uninstall it and get a better antivirus program. Some
recommendations are F-Prot (which I use on my Windows machines),
Kaspersky, NOD32, F-Secure. I don't recommend any Norton or McAfee
products.
