It could be (a) your monitor - does it have settings (buttons? dials?
slides? on-screen menus?) to adjust this? Or (b) your display driver - do
you have the latest driver for your graphics card? Or (c) your settings in
Display Properties.
If you mention what hardware (monitor and graphics card) you are using, we
might be able to be more specific.
