event viewer in windows xp

there is now an error log for internet explorer.due to the many bugs and
crashes of the beta version it had to go .my question is:- how does one
delete the log for internet explorer in the event viewer?

Open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | Click OK |
Right click Security and select Clear all Events |
Click No to: Do you want to save "Security" before clearing it? |
Do the same for Application & System. Or any combination.
