        Hello Friends, can anyone tell me where the sound event for
"system default" went. When I go into the control panel, sounds,
select, 'system default' is no longer present. What happen to it and
how can I restore it as an event that I want to assign a sound to?

Thanks Sharon, that 'default beeb' helped as I have been messing
around in my registry and forgot where I started. Could you look in
yours -- HKEY CURRENT USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default -- and tell
me if you see a string with this 'default beeb' association? If you
find something, let me know. Thanks again, Axel.
