folder pictures problem

I have a large collection of music on my computer with folders arranged by
artist with separate folders for albums in each artist folder. In each album
folder is a picture file of the album cover. I use this file for the folder
picture, which is set up under properties|customize.

On a few of the albums when I choose the album picture, the same picture is
also used/updated on a different album from a different artist. Going in to
change this other picture back just changes the original folder too. Somehow
the two folders have become linked. How can I break this link so the correct
album art is with each album?

You may need to rebuild your Icon Cache.
