\Device\CDROM0, has a bad block

My computer does not show my internal CD drives . I went to Device Manager to check. It suggested that I remove and reinstall drive. I did but it gave me and error code (39). It also gave the error message \Device\CDROM0, has a bad block. How can I fix this.

Hi, I am getting following error when I ran june 2009 update for xpembedded any thoughts on what is going on? I built XPE image for my system using TAP . The TAP detected Hardware device : IDEA PCI, The Target Designer did not found suitable components for this device. Hi group, I have a "simple" question: Is it possible to to use daylight saving (DST) with Registry Filter? I think I made it work, but unfortunately (and so very stupid) I erased the target disk where it seemed to work !!! If anyone has made it work, could you please provide the EXACT steps? When I click on the upper left hand icon in a command prompt windows and select "defaults" or "properties", the settings window doesn't appear. Any idea why it's not working? Thanks, -Daniel
