Hello All,
Today I found that SanDisk has a DOS utility for making their CF look like a
"Fixed Drive" under XP.  For those of you out there that want this utility,
you'll have to sign a Software License Agreement (SLA) with SanDisk.  My
contact at SanDisk is as follows:

I have already tried it, and it works great!  I was even able to install the
EWF partition on the CF!
