Hi James,

Is there any reason why you need to do this? You can use remote debugging
instead of installing VS.

Anyway read:

I had the same problem ( with Visual Basic 6 ).

When you install Visual Studio 6, when the installation ask to click "Next"
( or "Continue", i don't remember) DO NOT CLICK THE BUTTON WITH MOUSE.
INSTEAD YOU MUST SELECT THE BUTTON WITH "TAB" AND PRESS ENTER!!
TRY.

Hi,

I had the same problem and found a way to install it.

Copy the CD to your local harddisk and set the compatibility mode for the
setup.exe to 98.

Regards,
Günter
