Generic host process for win32 services has encountered a problem.

Has anyone had this error in Windows Embedded Standard?
The complete message is “Generic host process for win32 services has
encountered a problem and has had to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.”

And I probed further in the event logs and obtained similar information in 2
instances of the error:

Description:
Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.5512, ...

I'm not really sure what caused svchost.exe to fail, but in 2 separate
instances it failed in different modules:
1) wbemcomn.dll, version 5.1.2600.5512, fault address 0x0001872b. and
2) ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.5512, fault address 0x00011760.

I would really like to hear from people who have dealt with this problem
before - what is the root cause and how to fix it. Thanks in advance...

I've got this error this morning after coming back from standby. Mine was
with the winhttp.dll module. I've noticied this kind of error after updating
my image with the September QFEs. Before that, I've never that happen. I
would also like to know the cause or how to solve this issue.
