Hi there, I have 8 systems deployed right now with XPE on my original
XPE configuration. I tried to think of everything that would be
needed to add to the image to have available but of course now I
apparently didn't think of something. I would like to setup time
synchronization on my systems, and I tried to run the "w32tm /resync"
but of course the w32tm is missing and cannot be run.

How do I deploy "Time Service Executable" to these deployed systems
now that they are in the field? Is this even the right package to
include to my image?

Is there an alternative to w32tm? I can deploy proprietary
applications to the systems, if it's a simple exe/dll combination I
can deploy them and use them really easily.

Thanks

What kind of image you have. It's it sealed? Do you run an SDI image
or maybe image with EWF or FBWF ?

Any suggestions?
I'm in the same boat. I've copied the W32time.exe to the XPe pc registered the dll, configed the server & clients but can't get the clocks to sync. I can get it to work on my bench with 2 XPpro PCs but not on the XPe PCs.

Any assistance would be welcome.

The images are re-sealed, deployed and in the field in use.

Try Extracting this components and add file/registry to your image:
Time Service Core

And probably this components too:
Time Service Executable

When you say try extracting these components, what do you mean? Where
do you find these components to extract? Please post detailed
instructions for me and for the help of anyone to stumble on this in
the future.

Thanks.
