Hello,

I've noticed something weird after installing the latest QFE in my WES
Image. In the My Computer > Properties > General System Properties, the Sytem
Labeling is no longuer "Microsoft Windows, Windows Embedded Standard, Service
Pack 3" but is replaced with "Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, Version 2002,
Service Pack 3".

I've checked the version with winver.exe on my image with the QFEs and got
this:
"Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_qfe.090206-1316 : Service Pack 3)". In my
older image, winver returned this: "Version 5.1 (Build
2600.xpsp_sp3_qfe.080413-2111 : Service Pack 3)".

Is this normal?? Did Microsoft changed again the system labeling? Is there
anyways to change this back to Windows Embedded Standard?

Thanks

What QFE did you install?

I was able to found a solution. There was a registry key missing under
HKLM\System\WPA\WES (which was not there). I had to add a DWORD value named
"Installed" and set it to 1.
