taskbar width resize

hello everyone, just a quick question i am looking to resize the taskbar
width so it is not the whol length of the screen can this be done ?

No. At least not natively. Not even sure if there is a third party tool to
do it beyond replacing explorer.exe.

There is a third party program called Aqua Dock which will give you a
separate 'taskbar' that is modelled on the OS X dock.

It allows you to make it any size you want and offers many of the same
functions as the OS X namesake if you have any experience with it.
