When I reboot - a small little box appears on the desktop saying:

McAfee resources could not be
loaded successfully.
Please reinstall McAfee.com SecurityCenter

How uninstalled McAfee stuff, including the Secutiy Center. So why is this
box still coming up? And How do I get rid of it now??

Not really an operating system issue. Try here.

Welcome to the painful world of McAfee. McAfee Security Suite does not
clean-up. Contacting
forumshelp.mcafee.com can help, but search for uninstall scripts. There is
an uninstall script for each (and possibly the suite to).

If not, you will have to clean-up yourself. First check it out, if still
having problems ... post back here.
I know all the things to look for.

Click start - run - type msconfig press enter. click startup tab and uncheck

Msconfig does not work. McAfee adds a lot of startup services in
SERVICES.MSC. If you remove the entries from MSCONFIG Startup (HKLM/.../Run,
Startup Folder), McAfee SERVICES will add them automatically back after next
reboot.
