I try to update my computer but i get the error code 80070005. What does it
mean, and what do I need to do to fix this?

Hello dice,

Code Error 80070005 - Access Denied

Common causes, the installed secuяity software
(antivirus/security suite/3rd party firewall/popup/script/or cookie
blocker) is preventing the system from updating.

Look to the installed security software as being the cause.
[antivirus/anti-malware/cookie or popup blocker/or, any security
software that monitors the registry keys for changes]

Temporarily disable any third-party real-time system protections (e.g.,
anti-virus; anti-spyware; firewall) before you try again to update

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this
machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?
