Hi,

I have been attempting to install the Platform Update for Windows Vista
x64-based Systems (KB971644) for over a week. The update downloads and then
when the system is restarted, it performs 3 configuration steps. As soon as
the 3rd step completes configuration, I get a message that configuration had
errors and that it is reverting back.

Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know of a fix?

I use Comcast to go and I now seem to get a Internal Error in my Comcast
Connections application.

Thanks,

No one here works for or represents Microsoft. We're all volunteers.

If you purchased a computer with Vista preinstalled, you paid the
manufacturer for Vista, not Microsoft: Call them.
