I have been attempting to install the Platform Update for Windows Vista
x64-based Systems (KB971644) for over a week. The update downloads and then
when the system is restarted, it performs 3 configuration steps. As soon as
the 3rd step completes configuration, I get a message that configuration had
errors and that it is reverting back.
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know of a fix?
I use Comcast to go and I now seem to get a Internal Error in my Comcast
Connections application.
Thanks,
Desparately Seeking Help
but this little error been bugging me everytime i'm trying to shutdown...
i update it through wireless connection, lan connection, with firewall,
kaspersky,
both turned off and it always show me the update error on the stage 3
updating...
after failing to update, this little bugger continue to show up and keep on
asking me to update it everytime...
um... HEllo? do microsoft personnel notice this topic?~
really, say something at least... we DO paid to get this OS...
If you purchased a computer with Vista preinstalled, you paid the
manufacturer for Vista, not Microsoft: Call them.
