No dude... still having the same problem but from the log under
window\system32\ I can see that there is a virus/hijacking problem with my
computer. Do let me know if you happen to see any fixes

I have the same problem. I don't know if these are clues, but yesterday I
had to move my operating system onto a new hard drive, used Norton Ghost, and
had some sort of a Windows Update error message about not being able to find
the Debugger. Unfortunately I was distracted and lost the error message and
it won't repeat. Hoping some one has an answer as to how to get these
updates installed.

I got all but the .Net Framework to install, try deselecting the Net
Framework and see if the rest of them install.

I spent all day on this problem yesterday. I got about half of them to
install by selecting them individually. I had just done some Norton's NIS
updates prior to downloading the Windows ones, and I am convinced this caused
the problem, because after trying everything including switching to the
Windows firewall, I finally managed to install them once I'd uninstalled and
reinstalled Nortons (TWICE!!) This was a very boring process. The easiest
option might be to hold on for a day or two to see if the Microsoft people
and the Anti-virus people realise there's a problem and get their acts
together.

I still get the code 8024402C, and I can't update anything.

I know I'm a little late. computer just told me today that there were
updates available. had the same error code. mine turned out to be that my
windows firewall was on along with mcafee firewall.
