I have NOT been able to install this update: Security Update for Microsoft
Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB956500) since it was available. I have
automatic updates on and also have tried to manually install the update and I
keep getting a "failed" Please HELP!!!!!

If you have PowerPoint Viewer 2003 installed, uninstall it via Add/Remove
Programs & reboot. Then download/install PowerPoint Viewer 2007 SP1
manually:
