Hi,

I am seeing this error from MU site while trying to MUing the Windows
2000 SP4 Server with the latest AU client version.

We have an ISA 2000 SP2 with authentication enabled for outgoing web
requests and followed the KB articles to allow anonymous access for WU
sites and used PROXYCFG.exe to bypass and added WU sites to Trusted
Zone with no effect.

Any ideas?

Error 0x8024401B is: SUS_E_PT_HTTP_STATUS_PROXY_AUTH_REQ
Http status 407 - proxy authentication required

Open a command prompt: Start/Run and then "cmd.exe" without the quotes"

Type the following see what proxy configuration is: proxycfg

If you don't have a proxy, you will see status "Direct access (no proxy server)."
If it reports anything else, set direct access: proxycfg -d

To get more help on proxycfg, type: proxycfg -?

Hi there,
As I have already said in my initial post that I have tried using
PROXYCFG with no luck.

Any other ideas?
