Error Message 0x8007F0DA

I am running windows XP, service pack 2. I have over 80 updates on my
computer, mostly security updates but some window updates to. When doing the
updates I keep getting the following error messages on all updates
Ox8007F0DA "Unable to verify the integrity of update.inf file"
I have tried everything to fix this with no luck.
Can anyone help?
