Please explain what "While we updated the Pc a whole new computer started"
means...
Please be as detailed as possible.
If you happened to have meant that things looked different when you logged
in - check the C:\Documents and Settings\ directory for a sub-directory by
your username - if more than one - come back and list the ones you see.

The updates cannot 'erase' your computer... Could have exposed a broken
profile, though...
Check your C:\Documwents and Settings\ directory as I asked you to do
before. ;-)

Please explain exactly what you mean by "updated windows". Were you using the
Windows Update web site to install updates, or were you using a Windows install
CD to upgrade to a new version of Windows?
