This update was installed on my computer and Desktop Window Manager will not
enable now and my Aero theme has disappeared. It is no longer a theme
option. Can someone please help? I run Vista Business 32bit.

I ran the Microsoft Mr. Fix It and the program was not able to fix the
problem.

Thanks.

I am running Vista Business 32 bit SP2. I ran the System Restore to before
the security update and that restored the Aero theme. I then reinstalled the
kB961371 and after the required restart the Aero theme disappeared again and
Desktop Window Manager was again disabled.

The Microsoft Mr. Fix It program I ran was Microsoft
Automated Troubleshooting Services 1.0. from

NEVER use System Restore to "undo" an update!! Uninstall it instead.

At this point, you should start a free Windows Update support incident
request.
