Subject: blue screen of Death
I have a problem with the boot sector in NT.  I am getting
a blue screen every time I try to boot up and log in.  How
do I get to the C:drive and try to copy the data from it.

Reinstall NT to a different partition and that will give you access to all
the data on the machine. If you do not have multiple partitions I would use
an alternate directory name for the reinstall like winnt2 or NewNT, whatever
you like. Do not reinstall NT over itself. Or just take the drive out and
put it in a different NT box and access the data that way.
