Subject: Lost Batch run Capability
I have an associate who has lost the ability to run a batch file by
just double-clicking it.  The file association looks correct  (open  =
"%1" %*) but the file will not run.  Registry entry looks good also.
If you associate it with cmd.exe that will just start a command prompt
window but not run the batch file.  How do I get the association back
so that a double-click will start and run batch files?

Thanks for your help,

Brent Burgess
