  Well, I can confirm that anything I register as an add-in doesn&#39;t seem to &lt;br&gt; show up inIWMEncTransformPluginInfoMan ager. &lt;br&gt; Regarding getting ffdshow to work in just the WME encoder (on my end) &lt;br&gt; 1. I&#39;m not running x64 &lt;br&gt; 2. I have tried the &amp;quot;orginal&amp;quot; ffdshow &lt;br&gt; 3. I have tried the newest ffdshow tryouts &lt;br&gt; 4. I have reinstalled both.

  I have not encountered that error message before, but a couple of tips could &lt;br&gt; be: &lt;br&gt; 1. I have never got it to work on a x64 system, so that might be the case. &lt;br&gt; 2. Use latest version of FFDShow and use Complete / Ultimate install. &lt;br&gt; 3. Try uninstall - reinstall both WME &amp;amp; FFDShow. &lt;br&gt; Good luck! &lt;br&gt; Still no answer form MS regarding the mysterious
