It you are still getting the error after you know the player is installed
properly then it is being caused by something external to Windows Media Player.

An Internal Application Error Has Occured?
However, since the backup, I haven't been able to use the Windows Media Player,
stating that an internal application error has occured. I even downloaded the
new 9 series Media Player anew, and the same error message has come up. What
might be wrong, and how can I fix it?

Hi, Every time I click on the Media player OR anything sound related(music,etc)
I get an error message stating An internal application error has occured. I have
allready searched the web for help and they say it has to do with my Jscript.dll
