Opening WMP11 final version causes my system to crash and restart - Please HELP

works just find.
Now if I try to open the player, it briefly opens the new interface, but
then immediately CRASHES shuting down and restarts my computer.
I rolled back to WMP 10 and it works again just find.
I installed again WMP 11 and same problem occurred.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm running XP Pro SP2, witth all updates
charged.
PLEASE HELP, I do like to use WMP.

What error text do you get when it dies?
If you use System Restore to go back to WMP10, does it then work?

What if any text shows up when it crashes? That's really critical. If
there's any data at all, that's helpful. If you just see the library and
then your system restarts, that doesn't make any sense. Generally crash /
fault data gets logged to the Event Viewer-
