WMP can't play DVD disc

WMP screen shows a bunch of advertisement and refuses to play DVD
disc. IF there is
small error such as not region setting, WMP will not play. Since using
MS windows for 10 yr
I've never used wmp seriously. I can't stand wmp pop-up ad screen
when I did not click any ad . dunno think it's fair move for
Microsoft put commercial ad
