Hi there,
I am ripping CDs to the PC using WMP10 on XP Pro SP2. Some of the files that
have migrated from WMP9 show their album art correctly but some are showing
the small jpg of the album art. Is there a way to rectify this so all the
album art is the same size?
Is there a specific folder where all the art is kept when the CDs are
ripped, if so, which directory should I be looking in?
I am also using Limewire to download the odd song, which will also download
the art for the song if it's available. I can see the album art in the saved
files folder via Limewire, but when I access that directory through Windows
Explorer, my PC will not show any files. I have attempted to change the
settings in folder options without success. Any guidance would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,

The art is stored in each album folder as hidden system files. See

You can't independently change the album-art settings for WMP. While it
is largely treated as "metadata", WMP will happily overwrite your
external album art files, or delete them if it can't find a matching
image in its database.

The ONLY way to attach and keep the desired art attached to your albums
in WMP is to insert it into each track via the Advanced Tag Editor.
