I'd do it manually.
Remove the WMP application from /Applications
Remove the plug-in from /Library/Internet Plug-ins
delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist
(~/ stands for your user fodler).
You might have to do command-i on some of these files to change the
owner to yourslef before you can actually move/delete them,

I use Windows Media Player, yet I don't seem to have that particular file on
my system. The only Windows Media-related files I see in my user's
Preferences folder are:
Windows Media Prefs
Windows Media Favorites
To do a complete uninstall, I'd recommend you delete both.
