Screen capture won't capture certain things (Office 2007 file menu

I'm trying to create some custom tutorial videos for Office 2007 using WME's
Screen Capture, and I'm running into a small but annoying issue: for some
reason it refuses to capture the Microsoft Office Button menu (the new File
menu). When I playback my video capture, I can see my cursor moving there and
even clicking on the button (it turns brown), yet the menu doesn't show. I
can even pick something from the menu (e.g. Word Options) and that will
appear, but no trace of the menu.

I figure it's because the menu is a different "type" of "image"...but after
playing for hours with all the settings (even using WM PowerToy), I just
can't seem to make WME "see" it. Any idea why, and if there is a solution?
