Hi,

I have recently implemented the Windows Media Rights
Manager on 2000 server, and followed Microsoft's
QuickStart guide. When I protect a wma file it works all
fine - except that when I try and play it - windows media
returns an error "The Parameter is incorrect!", any idea
whats going on here?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You might have to individualize your mediaplayer first of all, since I
assume that you have applied the newest lists from the licenseserver at
microsoft on your server. The applying of those lists means that your server
won't give out licenses to any client that hasn't been individualized.

To individ. your player you need to play protected content...

Tell me how this works.

Eeh.. forgot something =)

The protected content you're playing that's supposed to invoke the individ.
of the player has to be encrypted with the individualizedVersion-variable
set to "2.2"

I also think that you can visit this site for invoking the
individualization.
